Who is her husband?
Jonathan Owens, who modestly refers to himself as “a kid from St. Louis” on Instagram, has built an impressive football career. After graduating from Christian Brothers College High School, Owens pursued his passion for football at Missouri Western State University, where he earned the title of Male Student-Athlete of the Year in his senior year.
Though he went undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Owens joined the Arizona Cardinals as a free agent. Unfortunately, a knee injury during practice sidelined him before he could make his rookie debut. Despite this setback, Owens continued to pursue his dreams and now plays as a Safety for the Houston Texans, with his wife, Simone Biles, as his biggest supporter, cheering him on at every game.
How did they meet?
The couple’s love story began in 2020 when they connected on a dating app, with Simone Biles making the first move. As the pandemic unfolded, they spent more time getting to know each other, which helped solidify their relationship.
In February 2022, Jonathan Owens proposed, and Biles eagerly said “yes,” describing it as the easiest decision of her life. After over a year of planning, they finally celebrated their love with an intimate wedding ceremony.
