Make sure your oven is preheated at 180°C (356°F).
Crack three eggs into a mixing basin.
If using raw eggs, add 12 tablespoons of sugar.
Combine the sugar and eggs in a bowl and whisk until smooth and creamy.
Pour 12 tablespoons of oil over the sugar and egg mixture and stir to combine.
Keep mixing after adding 12 tablespoons of milk.
Without lumps, sift in 12 tablespoons of flour while stirring constantly.
For a delightful citrus taste, zest and juice half a lemon and include them into the batter.
The last step is to add 11 grams of baking powder and stir until combined.
Press the batter into a 20cm cake pan that has been greased.
Before placing the cake in the oven, warm it to 180°C (356°F). Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until it becomes golden and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
Take the cake out of the oven and set it aside to cool.
To enhance the taste, you have the choice to sprinkle the top with powdered sugar or drizzle with lemon glaze.
This 12-tablespoon Italian cake is easy to make and tastes great when cut into slices.
