Start by gathering all the ingredients, and then use a blender to combine the eggs, milk, oil, and sugar. Afterward, blend them all until you obtain a creamy mixture, then add the flour and cocoa powder alternately.
Now, beat after each ingredient addition, and add the baking powder last, using a spoon to mix it in. Next, transfer the batter to a previously greased and cocoa powder-dusted pan.
Then, place it in a preheated oven (180°C) and bake for about 35 minutes.
Separately, prepare the syrup by placing its ingredients in a saucepan, bringing it to medium heat, and stirring until it thickens slightly.
To finish, remove the cake from the oven, drizzle it with the syrup, allow it to cool, and if desired, decorate it with chocolate sprinkles and strawberries. It’s ready to be served.
Enjoy!
