4–6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
½ teaspoon paprika (optional, for extra flavor)
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce (your favorite brand)
1 cup (240ml) heavy cream (or half-and-half for a lighter option)
1 cup (120g) shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup (50g) grated Parmesan cheese
1–2 cups (120–240g) shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
Fresh basil or parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts or thighs with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, paprika (if using), salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Layer in the Slow Cooker
Place the seasoned chicken in the bottom of your slow cooker.
Pour the marinara sauce over the chicken, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Add the heavy cream and stir gently to combine with the marinara sauce.
