Add Dumplings: Place biscuit dough (or rolled dumplings if you’re making them from scratch) on top of the mixture. Let them cook for another 1-2 hours until they’re cooked through and golden.
You can thicken the soup base with a cornstarch mixture before adding the dumplings if needed. Some recipes also suggest adding frozen vegetables during the last hour for extra flavor and nutrition
