Ingredients:
- 2 pounds top sirloin steak
- 1 red bell pepper, cut into large pieces
- 1 green bell pepper, cut into large pieces
- 1 onion, chopped into large pieces
- 1 1/2 cups beef broth, divided
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Generously season the steak with black pepper and rub it in. Slice the steak into thin strips and place them in a 6-quart slow cooker with the onion and bell peppers.
In a bowl, mix 1 cup of beef broth with soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic powder. Pour this mixture over the steak in the slow cooker.
