Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add the flour and salt to the bowl and mix until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
4. Roll the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, slightly flattening each one with a fork.
5. Bake the cookies for 12-15 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
6. Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Tips:
– For an extra touch of sweetness, you can sprinkle the cookies with a bit of additional sugar before baking.
– Feel free to add your favorite mix-ins, such as chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruit, to customize these cookies to your liking.
