š¹ Step 1: Make the Spaghetti
Boil pasta: Cook spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook sauce: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic; sautƩ until fragrant.
Add meat: Brown the ground beef/sausage until fully cooked. Drain excess fat if needed.
Simmer: Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10ā15 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
Combine: Toss the cooked spaghetti into the sauce. Mix until fully coated.
š¹ Step 2: Make the Stuffed Garlic Bread
Preheat oven: 375°F (190°C).
Prepare bread: Slice the bread into sections (about 1 inch apart) without cutting all the way through the bottom.
Stuff: Place mozzarella inside each slit. You can also sprinkle in some extra garlic or herbs.
Garlic butter: Mix melted butter, garlic, and parsley. Brush generously over the top and inside the slits.
Bake: Wrap in foil and bake for 15ā20 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes to brown and crisp the top.
Serve warm with a sprinkle of Parmesan on top if desired.
š½ Serving Suggestion
Plate the spaghetti with a generous heap of sauce.
