Instructions:
Prepare the Bananas:
Peel the bananas and slice them into uniform pieces about 1-inch thick.
Arrange the banana slices in a single layer in a steaming basket or a heatproof dish.
Seasoning (Optional):
Sprinkle the banana slices lightly with cinnamon powder and a pinch of salt for extra flavor.
If you prefer a sweeter taste, drizzle honey or maple syrup over the slices.
Steam the Bananas:
Fill a pot with 2-3 inches of water and bring it to a gentle boil.
Place the steaming basket or dish in the pot and cover it with a lid.
Steam the bananas for 5-7 minutes or until they are tender and slightly translucent.
Serve:
Remove the bananas carefully from the steamer.
Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with your favorite toppings, such as grated coconut or nuts.
Serve warm or let them cool slightly for a refreshing snack.
Tips:
Pair this dish with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delicious dessert.
If you enjoy a tropical twist, add a drizzle of coconut milk before serving.
