For the Cake:

  • 1 package (18.25 ounces) of white cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 package (3 ounces) of strawberry-flavored instant gelatin
  • 1 can (15 ounces) of thawed and blended frozen strawberries in syrup
  • 1/4 cup of water
  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

For the Frosting:

  • 7 cups of powdered sugar
  • 8 ounces of softened cream cheese (one package)
  • 1/4 cup of melted butter
  • 1 package (10 ounces) of thawed and blended frozen strawberries in syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon of strawberry flavoring
