It doesn’t matter how many times you flush the toilet: over time, limescale in the water always ends up staining the internal surfaces orange.

Being in constant contact with water, it is difficult to permanently solve the problem of limescale and dirt accumulation in the toilet. When limestone absorbs dirt, it takes on a dark, annoying color.

This is why it is essential to apply the following advice both to prevent the appearance of limescale and to eliminate existing limescale.

Limestone is made of calcium carbonate, an alkaline compound, so it requires an acid to dissolve and remove it. Vinegar, for example, is a very useful product in this regard.
