The Cheese Filling Must Be Prepared:
In a separate bowl, grate 200 grams of cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
Set Up the Cheddar Bread:
Get your oven ready for 180°C (350°F).
After you’ve pounded the dough, split it into equal sections (or more, if you want different sized bread).
Form balls out of each part and press down gently.

Fill the middle of each piece of flattened dough with a good quantity of shredded cheese.
Reroll the dough into a ball and fold it over the cheese, being sure to seal the edges.
To make the cheese bread, fill the dough balls and set them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Brush the dough balls with a mixture of egg yolk and a little amount of vegetable oil.
Melt the cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes in a warm oven, or until the top is golden and bubbling.
To serve, remove from the oven and allow the cheese bread to cool for a few minutes.

Serve as an appetiser or snack.
Garnish with a serving of salad or marinara sauce.
Tips for Cooking Before you activate the yeast, make sure the milk is warm, not hot.
To keep the cheese from oozing out during baking, be sure to seal the dough tightly around it.
