Her sudden death has left fans and loved ones in deep mourning.
The tragic news of Lizzy’s passing was shared by her father, Pat Musi, through a heartfelt Facebook post on June 27.
He wrote: “Surrounded by her family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight. Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle. At this time, the family would like to have time to process, grief [sic] and make arrangements in peace. We will give an update as soon as we have information to share.
The racing community and her many fans were deeply moved by the announcement, reflecting on the courage and transparency Lizzy showed throughout her illness.
