500 g wheat flour (type 550)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon dry yeast
350 ml warm water
2 tablespoons olive oil
Preparation :
Mix the ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, and dry yeast. Add the warm water and olive oil. Mix with a spoon until a smooth dough forms.
Kneading: Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for about 10 minutes, until smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.
Proving: Place the dough in a bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
