Restoring a Pan Without Non-Stick Coating
Season the Pan:
What You Need: Vegetable oil (or another cooking oil with a high smoke point) Paper towel or soft cloth Steps: Clean the pan thoroughly with soap and water, removing any leftover debris or food particles. Dry the pan completely. Apply a thin layer of oil to the inside surface of the pan using a paper towel. Heat the pan on medium heat for 5–10 minutes until the oil begins to smoke slightly. Let it cool, then wipe off any excess oil. Repeat this process 2–3 times to build up a natural non-stick layer.
Use a Parchment Paper or Silicon Mat:
For tasks like frying or baking, lining the pan with parchment paper or using a silicone mat can prevent sticking without relying on the coating.
