How to Make Clove Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon of whole cloves
  • 1 cup of water
  • Optional: honey or lemon to taste

Instructions:

  1. Boil Cloves:
    • Add one teaspoon of whole cloves to one cup of water in a small pot.
    • Bring the water to a boil, then turn down the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Cloves release their flavor and beneficial oils when simmered.
  2. Steep and Strain:
    • After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let the tea steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
    • Strain the cloves out and pour the tea into a cup.
  3. Enhance Flavor:
    • If desired, add a teaspoon of honey or a few drops of lemon juice to enhance the flavor and add extra vitamin C.
