How to Make Clove Tea
Ingredients:
- 1 teaspoon of whole cloves
- 1 cup of water
- Optional: honey or lemon to taste
Instructions:
- Boil Cloves:
- Add one teaspoon of whole cloves to one cup of water in a small pot.
- Bring the water to a boil, then turn down the heat and let it simmer for about 5 minutes. Cloves release their flavor and beneficial oils when simmered.
- Steep and Strain:
- After simmering, remove the pot from heat and let the tea steep for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Strain the cloves out and pour the tea into a cup.
- Enhance Flavor:
- If desired, add a teaspoon of honey or a few drops of lemon juice to enhance the flavor and add extra vitamin C.
