Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 10×15 inch baking pan.
2. Prepare Brownie Batter
Cream together melted butter and granulated sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Mix in vanilla extract, flour, HERSHEY’S Syrup, and chopped nuts (if using).
Stir until well combined.
3. Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
4. Make the Icing
While brownies are baking, bring butter, cocoa, and 1 tablespoon milk to a boil in the microwave.
In a mixing bowl, combine confectioners’ sugar and the cocoa mixture.
Beat well, add vanilla extract, and gradually add the remaining milk until the desired consistency is reached.
5. Frost the Brownies
Let the brownies cool for 5–10 minutes.
Spread the icing evenly over the warm brownies.
Sprinkle with chopped nuts, if desired.
Allow the icing to set.
6. Cool and Serve
Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into squares.
