If you take a closer look at the composition and manufacturing of hot dogs, you may be surprised to find that this popular food carries some unexpected health risks.
It is undeniable that frankfurters are anything but natural: they are processed foods with low nutritional value. They are produced in factories using highly automated methods, at an impressive speed of 300,000 hot dogs per hour.
Hot dogs are made from a mixture of pork, beef, and chicken. The production uses leftover pork chops and pork chops, as well as “edible” offal such as feet, heads, fatty tissue, and even animal hides.
These ingredients are ground into a thick paste, to which various additives are then added to enhance the flavor. These include large amounts of salt, corn syrup, monosodium glutamate (MSG), nitrates, and other chemicals.
