Signs to watch for: If you’ve recently had chills, sudden fatigue, or a fever, your body may be fighting a viral or bacterial infection.
Medication side effects
Some medications can cause night sweats as a side effect. These include:
Antidepressants,
Hormone treatments,
Some painkillers and fever reducers.
What to do? If you notice an increase in sweating since taking a medication, talk to your doctor to see if the prescription can be adjusted.
