Finley Downer, an eight-year-old, was vacationing with his family in The Bahamas when the traumatic incident transpired during an excursion to Compass Cay.

The Guardian reported that Finley, unaware of the potential peril, entered the water as part of the excursion, only to be mercilessly attacked by the sharks.
