Crumble the biscuits:
Start by finely crumbling the ladyfingers or coffee biscuits. You can do this using a blender or by placing the biscuits in a plastic bag and crushing them with a rolling pin.
Make the dough:
In a large bowl, combine the crumbled biscuits, mascarpone, cocoa powder, espresso and icing sugar.
Mix all the ingredients well until you have a smooth and soft mixture.
Shape the truffles:
Take small portions of the dough and roll them between your hands to form uniformly sized balls, about 2 to 3 centimeters in diameter.
Place the truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place them in the refrigerator for about 15 to 20 minutes to firm up slightly.
Decorate and serve:
After resting in the refrigerator, the truffles should be slightly firmer. If you like, you can roll them in cocoa powder or coffee powder for an extra finish.
Transfer the tiramisu truffles to a serving dish and serve immediately or keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
These tiramisu truffles are a quick, easy and delicious dessert that can be prepared in just a few minutes. They are perfect to serve at the end of a meal or as a take-away dessert for a party.
Enjoy!
