At first glance, it may seem complicated, but if you follow the steps carefully, you will see that it is child’s play! What will you need?
Just a mirror – the classic ones that you will surely find in your desk drawers or in your closet – a few toilet paper rolls – 5 to be exact – some spray paint and finally a hot glue gun.
The first thing you need to do is spray the paint on the outside and inside of the toilet paper rolls and let it dry. Once this step is complete and the paint is dry, you need to press on the rollers and cut small cardboard curls with scissors.
Now take 5 of the two cut rolls and attach them with hot glue. Glue the ends of your four rolls together to form “caps”. Take the fifth roll and put some glue on the bottom. Then place it in the middle of the other four rolls that you glued previously.
Finally, place them all around the mirror, making sure they have a linear shape. Repeat this until all your cardboard structures go around your mirror. And in five minutes you will have created a truly extraordinary work of art!
One last idea that we suggest is really delicious. Did you know that you can grow a magnificent plant from toilet paper rolls? All you have to do is place the seeds of your flower plants in the cardboard roll, which is closed with an additional paper base or strong cotton wool.
Once the first shoots have appeared, you can then repot them in the soil. Have you seen how many cute and original ideas can arise just by reusing waste materials? Toilet paper rolls, as you can read, become a very valuable resource for your home and beyond.
