Inability to absorb healthy fats and food allergies
Sometimes we can’t break down and absorb healthy fats because the intestinal villi and lymphatic system around the intestines are congested. As a result, many of us are diagnosed with allergies to wheat, dairy, and soy. These foods are heavy, difficult to digest, and contain a lot of mucus.
Gluten can irritate the intestinal walls and stimulate the production of even more mucus if there is already too much mucus in the intestines and if the gluten has not been broken down properly in the stomach and small intestine.
This can seriously weaken the intestinal wall’s ability to function as a protective barrier. Limiting or even eliminating these foods from your diet is easy.
Application
Certain foods are incredibly beneficial for cleansing the liver and restoring its function. These include garlic, grapefruit, beets, carrots, green tea, green vegetables, apples, olive oil, avocados, cruciferous vegetables, lemons, limes, nuts, cabbage, and turmeric.
Here is one of the most effective ways to cleanse the liver and bile and restore their proper functioning:
Recipe for cleansing the liver and gallbladder:
Ingredients:
- 1 large grapefruit or 3 lemons
- 4 tablespoons of Epsom salt
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- Apple juice or malic acid supplements
Instructions:
It’s important to eat as many apples or drink as much apple juice as possible for four to five days before starting your liver cleanse. You can also take malic acid supplements to help ensure the cleanse is effective.
On the first day of your cleanse, eat a light, fat-free breakfast. This will cause bile to accumulate in the liver, putting pressure on it. This pressure will help remove more gallstones.
- At 2:00 PM that same day, mix 4 tablespoons of Epsom salts with 3 cups of water and pour the mixture into a jar. Place the jar in the refrigerator to chill. Do not eat or drink after 2:00 PM.
- At 6:00 PM, drink ¾ cup of the prepared mixture. You may find its taste unpleasant, so you can add ¼ teaspoon of vitamin C powder to improve the flavor.
- At 8:00 PM, drink another 3/4 cup of this mixture. Do your grocery shopping and get ready for your liver cleanse. It’s crucial that you don’t do anything after cleansing your liver—just lie down and sleep.
- At 9:45 PM, pour 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil into the jar. Squeeze all the grapefruit juice into the mixture, scraping out the pulp with a fork. The jar should contain 1/2 to 3/4 cup of grapefruit juice mixed with the extra virgin olive oil. Close the jar and shake vigorously until well combined.
- Drink this mixture at 10:00 PM. Try to consume the entire mixture within 5 minutes.
Then get into bed. Lie on your right side, with your right knee drawn up to your chin, for 20 minutes or more. Remain still and, if possible, not move at all. Try to fall asleep.
The next morning, after waking up, drink a third dose of ¾ cup of Epsom salts, and then you can go back to sleep. Drink the final dose of Epsom salts two hours later. Only after another two hours can you eat something, but do not eat solid fruit immediately. You can start with liquids and gradually increase the amount to fruit.
This cleansing procedure is incredibly effective. Remember, only you are responsible for your health, so give your body a helping hand when it needs it!
