Prepare the Drink:
Start by warming up a cup of water. The water should be warm, not hot, to avoid destroying the beneficial properties of the ingredients.
Add Lemon: Squeeze the juice of 1 fresh lemon into the warm water. Lemon juice helps flush out toxins, boosts metabolism, and aids digestion.
Add Apple Cider Vinegar: Add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. ACV helps with blood sugar regulation, digestion, and supports detoxification. Make sure to use raw, unfiltered ACV for maximum benefits.
Add Ginger: Grate 1 teaspoon of fresh ginger and add it to the drink. Ginger stimulates the digestive system, has anti-inflammatory properties, and helps in boosting metabolism.
Add Cinnamon: Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder into the drink. Cinnamon helps regulate blood sugar levels, reduces hunger, and promotes fat burning.
Optional Honey: Add 1 tablespoon of raw honey if you’d like a natural sweetness. Honey is full of antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory effects, but it’s optional if you’re watching your sugar intake.
Optional Cayenne Pepper: Add a pinch of cayenne pepper to spice things up. It has capsaicin, which is known to increase metabolism and promote fat burning.
Mint Leaves: Optionally, add a few fresh mint leaves to your drink. Mint helps with digestion and adds a refreshing taste.
Stir and Drink: Stir everything together and enjoy your detox drink! Drink this first thing in the morning or about 30 minutes before meals for the best results.
