Brittany Mahomes’ apparent support for Trump became a hot topic online after she liked an Instagram post by Trump outlining the “2024 GOP platform” on August 13. The move led to significant discussion and controversy on social media over the last few weeks.
Mahomes later seemed to address the backlash on her Instagram Stories, writing, “I mean honestly, to be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep-rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There’s no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
She followed up with another message, emphasizing the importance of tolerance and kindness despite differences of opinion: “Contrary to the tone of the world today….you can disagree with someone, and still love them. You can have differing views, and still be kind,” she wrote on August 26. “Read that again!”
Mahomes was also seen liking comments that supported her stance.
