The Trick My Nana Taught Me

Mix half a cup of baking soda with a few tablespoons of water until you have a spreadable paste. The consistency should be thick enough to adhere to surfaces but spreadable enough to smear across the bottom of the oven.
3. Application
Generously apply the baking soda paste on the brown grease and any other grimy areas inside your oven. The key is to cover every bit of grease thoroughly, ensuring no spot is missed.
4. Let It Sit
This is where the zero-effort part comes in. Let the paste sit overnight or for at least 12 hours. During this time, the baking soda will penetrate and loosen the grease.
