7. Makeup remover
- Take a cotton pad, spread some Vaseline on it and rub it on your skin to remove makeup.
- It will gently remove all makeup, leaving your skin soft and supple.
8. Vaseline to remove wrinkles
- Mix 2 teaspoons of olive oil with 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly and apply the mixture to your skin, hands, and legs.
- It retains moisture and makes the skin soft and smooth. It therefore reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the face, hands, and legs.
9. Illuminated Dewy Cheeks
- If you don’t like wearing a lot of makeup and still want a natural, glowing look, apply a little Vaseline to your cheeks for a naturally glowing, glass-like effect.
- Mix a small amount of beetroot powder for blush-pink, dewy cheeks.
9. Vaseline for dry skin
- In a bowl, pour 2 teaspoons of coconut oil, 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 3 teaspoons of Vaseline.
- Mix and apply all over your body if you have dry skin. Use daily for soft skin and to maintain its elasticity.
10. Treat split ends with Vaseline
- If you have frizzy, flyaway, or split-ended hair, simply apply a little Vaseline to calm frizz.
11. Vaseline + Coffee for glowing skin
- Mix 1 teaspoon of coffee grounds with 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly and a few drops of almond oil. Massage into skin for 5 minutes, then remove for a natural glow.
12. Vaseline for dark circles
- Mix 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly with a pinch of turmeric powder. Add 3-4 drops of sweet almond oil and mix well.
- Gently apply under the eyes and leave on for 30 minutes. Remove with a damp cloth or rinse to reduce dark circles and nourish the skin.
13. Vaseline + castor oil for eyebrow growth
- Mix 1 teaspoon of petroleum jelly with a few drops of castor oil.
- Apply the mixture to your eyebrows using a clean brush.
- Leave on overnight for deep nourishment and improved eyebrow growth.
- Rinse in the morning and repeat daily for best results.
Extra tips
- Vaseline has highly hydrating properties and is therefore a real panacea for those with dry skin.
- However, it may not be suitable for oily skin or those with clogged pores.
