Ingredients
10 chicken drumsticks
5 tablespoons butter
Basic Chicken Rub:
2 teaspoons paprika
2 teaspoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon dried basil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with nonstick spray. Arrange the drumsticks on the sheet.
In a small bowl, mix all the seasonings for the rub. Sprinkle evenly over the chicken, rubbing it under the skin if desired.
Place a 1/2 tablespoon dab of butter on the top of each drumstick.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
