To use vinegar in the washing machine

4. Remove mildew: Soak towels in a mixture of equal parts water and vinegar to remove mildew. Then, wash them normally.
If you follow these simple instructions, you won’t even need to use chemical-laden commercial solutions to get the best wash results. You can get brighter whites and softer towels by using vinegar, and it’s cheap, eco-friendly, and effective. If you want to notice a difference, try adding it to your laundry routine.
