“So, she used my purchase to cover her tracks,” I said, anger boiling beneath the surface. “But what can I do about it?”
“We need to gather more evidence,” Mr. Jenkins advised. “Find out if other buyers have experienced something similar.”
With a new sense of purpose, I began reaching out to other auction attendees, sharing my story and asking if they’d encountered anything unusual.
