Set Up Trap: Place the bowl in areas where you notice flies or mosquitoes are prevalent. This could be near doors, windows, or any damp areas.

How It Works:

Attraction: The vinegar acts as a bait due to its strong and fruity scent, which is very attractive to flies and mosquitoes. Apple cider vinegar is especially effective because it naturally ferments, mimicking the scents of decay and fermentation that these insects find irresistible.

Entrapment: The shampoo in the mixture reduces the surface tension of the vinegar, making it easier for the insects to sink if they attempt to land on the liquid’s surface.

Barrier: The olive oil forms a slick barrier on top of the mixture. If flies or mosquitoes enter the trap (especially through the holes in the plastic wrap, if used), they get trapped by the oil, which prevents them from escaping by clogging their wings and restricting their movement.
