She thanked Chris for the opportunity to meet, but Fischer had to get back to class, so she had to say goodbye. Instead, he gestured for her to hold on for a second, retrieved a crumpled piece of paper, scribbled something on it, and then handed it to his new acquaintance.
Fischer was surprised when she opened the letter. Little did she know that the homeless guy would be forever changed by her deeds. He was looking forward to this meeting for much more than just catching up over bagels and coffee. Because of this, something changed inside him.
“I wanted to kill myself today.” It was written in a letter. Since you brought it up, I no longer do. Thank you very much, beautiful person.
This lovely girl also deserves our gratitude. In order for this world to go on, you must make the required adjustments.
