Wrap potatoes in tin foil and put in crock pot. Enjoy this lip-smacking result (Page 3 ) | November 24, 2025
1. Prep the Potatoes
- Scrub the potatoes thoroughly under running water to remove dirt. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Using a fork, poke several holes in each potato to allow steam to escape during cooking.
- If desired, brush the potatoes lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings.
2. Wrap in Foil
- Tear off squares of aluminum foil large enough to fully wrap each potato.
- Place a potato in the center of each square and wrap tightly, ensuring no gaps are left to trap moisture inside.
3. Cook in the Crock Pot
- Place the foil-wrapped potatoes in the crock pot, stacking them if necessary (the slow cooking ensures even heat distribution).
- Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or high for 3–4 hours, depending on the size of the potatoes and your schedule.
- Check for doneness by gently squeezing a potato through the foil—it should feel soft and yield easily.
4. Serve and Enjoy
- Carefully unwrap the potatoes (be cautious of hot steam) and place them on serving plates.
- Top with your favorite toppings—butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, bacon bits, or fresh herbs—or serve them plain for a simple, satisfying side dish.
