Preparation:
- Prepare Ingredients:
- If using butter, bring it to room temperature or gently melt it and let it cool.
- If using lemon, wash and finely grate the zest. Set aside.
- Prepare a 23 to 24 cm diameter tart pan and line it with baking paper.
- Make the Batter:
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs and caster sugar together using an electric whisk or hand mixer until the mixture is light and fluffy (about 3 to 5 minutes).
- Gradually add the flour to the egg-sugar mixture, mixing well to prevent lumps.
- Add the cooled melted butter and mix gently until smooth.
- Add Flavors and Yogurt:
- Add vanilla extract or grated lemon zest to the batter according to your preference.
- Mix in the natural yogurt until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Bake:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) in static mode.
- Pour the batter into the prepared tart pan.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the tart is golden and firm to the touch.
- Allow the tart to cool in its pan on a wire rack. It will continue to firm up as it cools.
- Demold and Finish:
- Once cooled, carefully unmold the tart from the pan.
- Just before serving, dust with icing sugar for a sweet and aesthetic finish.
