1. Floor Cleaner

  • Ingredients:

    • 1 gallon of warm water

    • ½ cup of white vinegar

    • 1 tsp of natural dish soap (made from soapberries)

  • Instructions:
    Mix all ingredients in a large bucket. Dip a mop into the mixture, wring out the excess water, and mop your floors once or twice a week.

    • 2 cups of vinegar

  • Ingredients:

    • ¾ cup water

    • 1 tsp of natural dishwashing liquid (made from soapberries)

Pour into a large container and use ¼ cup for each laundry load. For fabric softener, use distilled vinegar in the fabric softener compartment.

  • Ingredients:

    • ¼ cup natural dish soap liquid

    • 1 tsp of water

    • A few drops of clove essential oil

    • ¼ cup of baking soda

  • Instructions:
    Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Apply to kitchen surfaces with a rough sponge and scrub. Wipe away with a damp kitchen towel or cloth.

7. Dishwasher Pods

  • Ingredients:

    • 1 cup super washing soda

    • 1 cup baking soda

    • 1 cup table salt

    • 1 tsp herbal or natural dish soap (made from soapberries)

    • 10 drops of lemon essential oil

  • Instructions:
    In a spray bottle, add water and spray onto the mixture until it becomes clumpy like wet sand. Press the mixture into silicon molds or an ice cube tray and let dry for 24 hours. Once hardened, store in an airtight container. Place 1-2 pods in the dishwasher’s detergent compartment.

  • Tip for Spotless Dishes:
    For a natural rinse aid, fill the automatic rinse agent dispenser with undiluted distilled white vinegar or place a small dishwasher-safe bowl with ½ cup vinegar on the top rack of the dishwasher.
