Orange Creamsicle Cake – Full Recipe

Soft orange cake + light vanilla cream for a true “Creamsicle” flavor!

Ingredients

🍊 For the cake:
• 2 cups (250 g) flour
• 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
• 2 large eggs (at room temperature)
• 1 cup (240 ml) fresh orange juice
• 1/3 cup (80 ml) milk
• 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon orange flavoring (optional but gives great results)

🍊 Orange Syrup (for soaking the cake):
• 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
• 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

☁️ Vanilla-Orange Cream (Creamsicle Frosting):
• 2 cups (480 ml) cold heavy cream
• 1/3 cup (40 g) powdered sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon orange extract (or 1–2 tablespoons orange juice)
• 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
