When cleaning, you can use various cloths and cleaning products. A commonly used cloth is the microfiber cloth. However, it’s smart to avoid using these colored cloths on certain surfaces because they can cause more damage than good.
Indispensable in Households
We’ve previously written about this multifunctional cloth, what it is, and what you should clean with it. Microfiber cloths are made of composite materials and have been a household staple since the 1990s.
A Microfiber Cloth and Some Water
Microfiber cloths can absorb all dirt with just a little water. They can easily remove dust or make glass shine again. But be cautious with wooden surfaces, high-gloss furniture, and mirrors. The cloths are somewhat rough by nature. For example, if you have rough hands, the cloth may catch on them.
Don’t Clean Wood with a Microfiber Cloth
You’re better off not cleaning a wooden table or cabinet with a microfiber cloth. These often have a protective layer on the wood, which can be damaged by the cloth. Afterward, stains or rings might remain on the wood.
