6 slices ham (thinly sliced)
1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Swiss, or Gruyère work great)
1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (optional, for extra flavor)
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp dried oregano (optional)
