Humidity:
Maintaining moderate humidity is essential, as extremes can lead to poor flowering, deformed fruits, and other issues.
Soil:
While eggplants are adaptable, loamy and deep soil with a pH between 6-7 is preferable. Avoid acidic and clayey soils to prevent growth and production problems.
Cultivation:
Start seedbeds in March, keeping trays in a warm place for up to a month. Transplant when the risk of frost has passed.
Planting:
Plant in rows with 60 cm spacing between plants after the frost season, ensuring warm soil.
Fertilizer:
Apply starter fertilizer during transplanting and nitrogen fertilizer midway through growth. Additional fertilizer is recommended after the first harvest.
