Why Store Watermelon Juice?
Watermelon juice is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins A, C, and antioxidants. Storing it properly ensures you can enjoy its benefits even when watermelon is out of season.
How to Cut Watermelon for Juicing
- Wash the Watermelon: Start by washing the outer surface of the watermelon thoroughly to remove any dirt or pesticides.
- Cut Off the Ends: Place the watermelon on a cutting board and cut off both ends. This will create a stable base for cutting.
- Slice in Half: Stand the watermelon upright and slice it down the middle, creating two halves.
- Quarter the Halves: Lay each half flat on the cutting board and cut it into quarters.
- Remove the Rind: Take each quarter and carefully slice off the rind. You can either cut the rind away in strips or lay the quarter flat and slice it off horizontally.
- Cut into Cubes: Once the rind is removed, cut the watermelon flesh into cubes, making it easier to juice.
