Known as pendular fibromas, skin tags, or, incorrectly, “warts,” these are small skin growths that appear primarily on the neck, eyes, armpits, breasts, or groin. Often mistaken for warts, pendular fibromas are benign lesions caused by continuous friction of the skin, and are more common in obese people.
Total or partial detachment of the pendular fibroid can often occur, in which case medical attention is necessary to prevent possible bacterial infection. Natural remedies can also be used to eliminate pendular fibroids.
Apple cider vinegar. It has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, making it an excellent remedy for fibroids. Wash your skin thoroughly, then apply apple cider vinegar with a cotton ball for about 15 minutes. Repeat this process 3 times a day for several days. Avoid using apple cider vinegar if the fibroid is near your eyes.
Vitamin E oil. This is a powerful antioxidant with excellent skin-loving properties. Vitamin E is also sold in liquid form: apply it directly to the skin, then cover with gauze. Let it sit for a few hours.
Tea tree oil. This is an excellent antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antibiotic remedy, also used in natural medicine for centuries. Soak a cotton swab in this oil and then apply it directly to the hanging fibroids three times a day, holding it for at least 10 minutes.
