Describing her devastation on the Facebook page Love What Matters, Andrea shared, “I was an absolute wreck. I didn’t know what to do, who to talk to, what was appropriate to discuss, or who could help me. Little did I know that 1 in 4 women suffer the same and people just don’t talk about it. I didn’t know if I could ever deal with being pregnant again.”
Supported by her husband, Andrea gradually found solace and eventually became pregnant again. This time, she committed herself to ensuring a healthy pregnancy, making dietary changes and immersing herself in pregnancy literature. Her dedication paid off as the pregnancy proceeded without complications.
However, during labor, an ultrasound revealed a critical issue: Andrea had very little amniotic fluid left, necessitating immediate induction. Despite the urgency, the delivery went well, and Andrea and her husband welcomed their son, Adam, into the world.
