Professor Tatyana Chernigovskaya believes that the brain is not just a “storehouse” of memories or information from books, but an active organ that, like the body, requires regular training. She has been studying the work of the mind for years and often warns that, especially in adulthood, people should not passively observe their lives.
“The brain requires attention, stimulation, and challenges, just as the heart and muscles require exercise.
“If you want a long and meaningful life, you need to nourish it, entertain it, and occasionally test it,” says Chernigovskaya.
