Like a good chocolate lover, Iβm going to tell you about the taste of this cake β¦ if Iβm seeing it in the photos and Iβm wanting to eat another little piece again hahaha β¦ But hey β¦ Iβll tell you that It is not very heavy, nor extremely cloying, I think cream cheese plays a great role here and not only gives it an extra creaminess, but it does not make it so sweet β¦
Crust:
- 1 Β½ cups (150g) chocolate cookie crumbs (such as Oreos, crushed)
- 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, melted
Dark Chocolate Mousse:
- 200g (7 oz) dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 1 ΒΌ cups (300ml) heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons (25g) powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 teaspoon gelatin powder
