Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, dry yeast, sugar, and salt together.
- Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Pour in the warm water and stir with a wooden spoon until the dough starts to come together.
- Using your hands, mix the dough until all ingredients are well combined and the dough is homogeneous.
2. Knead and Let Rise
- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Lightly grease a bowl with olive oil. Place the dough in the bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
3. Shape the Bread
- Preheat the oven to 230Β°C (450Β°F).
- Once the dough has risen, divide it into three equal sections.
- On a lightly floured surface, shape each section by hand into a round or oval shape. Place the dough on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for another 15 minutes.
4. Prepare the Topping
- Use your fingers to gently press indentations into the surface of each piece of dough.
- Mix the sesame seeds and nigella seeds together. Sprinkle the seed mixture evenly over the dough. Cover with a kitchen towel and let rest for an additional 10 minutes.
5. Bake the Bread
