Orange Creamsicle Cake – Full Recipe

1️⃣ Preparing the Cake
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9–10 inch (22–24 cm) round cake pan.
2. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
3. In a separate bowl, beat the sugar, oil, and eggs for 1–2 minutes.
4. Add the orange juice, milk, orange zest, and vanilla.
5. Add the dry ingredients and gently fold in with a spatula (do not overmix).
6. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes.
7. Let the cake cool completely.

2️⃣ Preparing the Orange Syrup
• Heat all the ingredients in a small saucepan for 2–3 minutes.
• Leave to cool.

3️⃣ Creamsicle Cream
1. Beat the cream with a mixer until it starts to thicken.
2. Add the powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange flavoring.
3. Beat until you have a medium-thick cream.
4. Fold in the orange zest with a spatula.

4️⃣ Assembling the Cake
1. Once the cake has cooled completely, prick the surface with a fork or toothpick.
2. Drizzle the orange syrup over the cake.
3. Spread 1/3 of the cream on top.
4. Cover the sides and top completely with cream.
5. You can decorate the top with orange slices, zest, or cream.
