Slow Cooker Herbed Turkey Breast
Servings: 6-8 servings
Ingredients
1 (4-5 pound) bone-in turkey breast
2 tablespoons olive oil
Seasonings of choice (1 tablespoon dried thyme, 1 tablespoon dried rosemary, 1 tablespoon dried sage, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup chicken broth
2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions
1. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub it all over with olive oil.
2. In a small bowl, mix together the thyme, rosemary, sage, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
3. Rub the herb mixture evenly over the turkey breast, ensuring it’s well coated.
4. Place the turkey breast in the slow cooker, skin-side up.
5. Pour the chicken broth around the turkey breast in the slow cooker.
6. Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the turkey breast.
7. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
8. Once cooked, let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with the juices from the slow cooker.
