1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt & pepper to taste
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
1 onion, diced
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 can chopped tomatoes (approx. 400g)
100ml chicken stock or water
For the rice:
250g long-grain rice or paella rice
500ml chicken stock
1 pinch of saffron (or 1/2 teaspoon turmeric as an alternative)
1 teaspoon paprika
