⚠️ Important precautions
Beetrooturia: Don’t be alarmed if your urine or stool turns pinkish-red after eating beets. This is a harmless condition called beetrooturia.
Kidney stones: Beets are high in oxalates. People prone to calcium oxalate kidney stones should consume them in moderation.
Allergies: Although rare, beetroot allergies can occur.
Skin care: Always do a small patch test on the inside of your arm before applying a new homemade beetroot preparation to your face.
