Summer and winter alike, our hands need pampering to stay supple, soft, youthful—in short, sublime. So take the time to apply a moisturizer at least twice a day. To make the right choice, choose from our selection of hand creams based on your needs: sun protection, anti-dark spot, ultra-nourishing, etc.
Good habits
– Avoid temperature fluctuations; the thin, fragile skin on your hands is sensitive to it. Wash your hands with warm, not scalding, water, and wear gloves when washing dishes. It’s not very sexy, but it’s effective, especially since current models are full of promises: soft hands, hydration, fragrance, etc.
– Choose a soap-free cleanser, preferably pH-neutral, to respect your skin’s balance as much as possible and avoid further drying it out.
– Use a gentle exfoliation once a week to exfoliate dead skin and allow your skincare product to work more effectively. As a bonus, if you’re out in the sun, this will ensure an even, radiant tan. Be careful, however, not to use your body scrub on this delicate area. Instead, massage it in with your facial exfoliator, which has finer grains and is therefore less abrasive.
– Apply your sunscreen to your hands, or you’ll risk the appearance of dark spots. Don’t be fooled, UV rays are also present in the city. Choose a product with SPF.
